Acquired 11 inland barge drilling rigs from Hercules Offshore. The Caillou, Matagorda Bay and St. Elaine went to work immediately.

Baywater moved into the workover sector of the inland barge market with the acquisition of four workover rigs from Basic Energy Services. The Bayou Black, Bayou Blue, Bayou Teche, and Bayou Lafourche joined the growing Baywater Drilling fleet.
The Timbalier joined the fleet. In our commitment to work with our operators in a true partnership, we refurbished the Timbalier by modifying it from a 3,000 HP rig to a 2,000 HP rig to meet the requests of operators for a shallow draft rig.
Due to our rapid growth, we began construction on new corporate office facility.
We began constructing two custom-built 650 HP land rigs.
We moved into our new corporate office in Houma.
We finished construction on the two custom-built land rigs and put them in service.
We acquired two inland barge drilling rigs and seven crew boats from Axxis Drilling.

We acquired a 12 acre facility in Bloomfield, New Mexico to serve as the base for our San Juan Basin Operations.
We acquired a 900 hp tug, the Abby Kate.
